Vision
Our vision is to encourage the people of HCBC UT to participate in building the church and reaching the campus of the University of Texas by inspiring and edifying them through the arts. We believe that true worship is not just emotional and not just doctrinal--but both.
Mission

Music
We have three different bands: The Josh Tullis band, The 405 band, and the Grayhound band. These bands lead the church in worshipping God through song. They rehearse regularly, and work hand-in-hand with the songwriting team to compose songs for the church.
Production
The production team assists at services through: visual tech, lighting, sound, and producer roles. They serve behind the scenes and use technology and their gift sets to help create a service that is artistic and motivating for the church.
Graphic Design
This team meets once a week to design print ads, signs, powerpoints, website design schemes, logos, creative campaigns, etc. It is directed by the advertising team but also has freedom to generate new ideas and take on its own projects.
Art
This team dreams up ways to transform the church artistically. Some examples of projects have involved studying other urban spaces, building a gallery, and creating artwork for the church and the campus. This team is given considerable amounts of creative freedom to dream and pray about how God wants HCBC UT to use art for His glory.
Advertising
This team is the keeper of the Ideas, Words and Research. It utilizes intuitive people skills, research and witty minds to create campaigns that capture the interest of students and accomplish predetermined objectives. These ideas provide guidance for the directions and projects of some of the other teams.
Songwriting
The songwriting team meets in residences of people in the group and develops the talents of creative writers and musical composers through practice and peer critique. Level of experience is not important. The ultimate goal is to create new worship music in a process that glorifies the Lord and betters the artist.
Video
This team makes videos for anything and everything that we do as a church! They use their eye for capturing film and editing to assist in the ever-increasing demand for more audio/visual interaction. It is often through video that we create some of the most powerful communication tools for our church internally and externally.
