Mentor/Shepherd - Meet with Jr. (5th-8th) and Sr. High students to discuss Scripture and its application.
Training - Provide material and support for ongoing and future ministry workers & parents
Curriculum - Assist Director & parents by researching and purchasing materials

Group Life

Group Coaches (3-5hrs/week) Meet weekly with students on Wednesday evenings to mentor them and help them learn how to effectively lead missional communities on campus. Coaches commit to attending re-group training with their students on Wednesday evening and then meet with their students for approximately one hour a week.
Group Leaders (3-5hrs/week) Meet weekly with a group of students and adults who are new to our church for a bible study on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening. Connection group leaders commit to developing relationships with the people in their groups with the express goal of helping them to grow spiritually so that they are ready to actively lead a missional community on campus or to serve in a ministry/leadership role at church.
Missional Community Core Team Members-student missionaries needed to join an identified people group, enter their community .express your faith through spiritual conversations, and explore the truths of Jesus with them

Greeters- kind, friendly and engaging people who will welcome guests to church on Sunday mornings and the Gathering on Wednesday nights.
Follow up- kind, friendly, and engaging students who will personally visit and thank our guests for visiting our services
Connections booth- friendly and informed people who will man our booth on Sunday mornings and at the Gathering on Wednesday nights to help connect guests to our community
Set up team- folks needed to set up and tear down, making sure building is ready for services Sunday and the Gathering on Wednesday.

Street team- this is the group of students who “hit the streets (campus)” to spread the word about HCBC UT in creative and fun ways.
International Student Ministry
Meet one-on-one weekly with an international student.
Host an international in your home once a month, host events for international students or just help provide food for international student events.
Open your home to let an international student live with you. (short-term and long-term stays)
Help acquire furniture for international students.
Administrator to manage a multi-ministry annual event to about 500 international students.
Tech person to set up and manage an online database.
Provide childcare for an international women’s Bible study.
Teach conversational English to an international student.
Missions Team

1 Male Student Leader to work as GO Ministry Leader. He would assist the ministry with mobilizing student leaders, students, adults for our GO trips to PN; US; DR over Spring Break and throughout the year. Assist with training of leaders and teams.
12 Student Leaders for Spring Break Trips (March 13-20) Girls and guys! The team leader will help mobilize their team, help train their team before the trip and then lead the team on the mission field. Planning for upcoming mission trips over Spring Break include: St Louis MO, Omaha NE, Memphis TN, Santiago, Dominican Republic and Piedras Negras Mexico.
12 to 18 Adult Leaders for Spring Break Trips (March 13-20) Our Adult Leaders will mentor the student leaders by encouraging and supporting them to mobilize; train the team before the trip and lead their team during their trip. The Adult Leaders will also be responsible for driving the van on the US and PN trips. Prior mission trip experience is not needed, but helpful. Needed: a willing heart, the ability to drive a van and available time!
