FAQs

Who are we?

Hill Country Bible Church UT is a Missional Community of Christ-followers committed to connecting people with the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

First time to a Service?

What to wear

This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you're not. You can even come in shorts and flip-flops, that is fine with us.

What to expect

For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of an uncertain experience. To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect at Hill Country UT.

People showing up prior to service can find a seat and spend time greeting one another. The service begins with a couple of songs led by one of our worship teams. After that we will move into the sermon, or message, which is based on the Bible and is designed to help us understand God, who we are and the world we live in. After the sermon we have a chance to respond to hearing from God's word by singing in worship once more. One of our elders will end the service with a prayer. People frequently go in groups to lunch after church.

Is it just Sundays?

Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We're not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. To further encourage us we have the 405 on Wednesdays as a chance to get back together and praise God in the middle of the week.

For those with disabilities...

There is an elevator that can take you to our worship center.  See one of our connection people at the front to help you find your way.
